A NEW rebate for solar panels is now available. It varies depending on location but can be worth up to $7750. It replaces a more generous federal government rebate as par of the Renewable Energy Target scheme. Climate Change Minister Penny Wong said yesterday that claims for the rebate would be backdated to June 9.
